Exhausted but replete, UK scientists have finally revealed the long-sought, foolproof formula for preparing the perfect bacon sandwich. Their most shocking finding: that the two most important components of bacony perfection, trumping taste and smell, are crispiness ("bacon should also break when 0.4 Newtons of force is applied through chewing") and crunchiness ("the sound while chewing should ideally measure 0.5 decibels"). Well heck, I coulda told them that.

fb = function of the bacon type
fc = function of the condiment/filling effect.
Ts = serving temperature.
tc = cooking time.
ta = time or duration of application of condiment/filling.
cm = cooking method
C = Newtons required to break uncooked bacon.
